This article explains how to set up an Email Account to allow you to send emails in bboss.
What is an Email Account?
An Email account is a from address that you can use whilst sending emails from bboss. It must be connected to a real inbox.
When you are sending an email, any available email accounts for you to use will listed as a drop-down next to "From".
How do I find the Email Accounts?
How do I set up a new Email Account?
From the Email Accounts screen, click on the New Email Account Button.
Step 1 - Brands: Optional
Does your company have multiple brands it trades as?
If it does, you will be asked to choose which brand you are creating this email account for.
Step 2 - Email Address
Here, you will enter your chosen email address. Bboss only needs you to enter the username ( the first part of the address).
The @ symbol and email domain will be pre-filled for you based on your brand or company's settings.
You will be sent a confirmation email to this address, so make sure you have access.
Step 3 - Confirmation
You will have been sent a confirmation email to the email address you just entered.
Check your inbox and look for the 4-digit code.
Copy this code and type it into the boxes on bboss.
Step 4 - Who is this account for?
Make a choice from the following options.
Me - This is a personal account that only you will access to.

Anyone - This is a global account that anyone in your company can use.
Specific - This account can be assigned to users or teams of your choice.
Step 5 - Which People: Optional
If you choose "Specific" in the last step, you will now be asked to choose which users and teams you would like to add to this account.
Step 6 - Default for Areas : Optional
Is this account a default for an area ?
Select the areas you want this account to be the default for by adding them to the list on the right hand side.

This step is optional and you can skip it with out making the account a default for anywhere.
Finished
Now when you hit save you will be able to use your new account as a from address when sending emails.
Which Account will show up as my Default
When you are sending an email, and there are multiple email accounts available to you, bboss will provide you with a drop-down to select your desired email account.

The one that is automatically selected by default will follow the hierarchy listed below.
Default for area - emails that are marked as a default for the area will appear first.
Personal email - personal email accounts will appear next.
Everything Else - global email accounts and ones set up for specific teams or users will appear last.
If there is a clash between 2 default email accounts, you will be forced to select which one each time.
