How do I raise a Purchase order for a Sales Order?
Step 1 : Enable the Wizard Step
You can navigate to your Sales Order Wizard as shown above.
Then, make sure the "Include Purchase Order?" step is enabled.
Step 2 : Raise an order
Now when you are raising your order you will be prompted if you would like to raise a purchase order. Be sure to select Yes.
Step 3 : Finish your order
Next, finish raising your order. When you click save, you will be automatically taken to create your purchase order.
I need to add another Purchase Order to an Existing Sales Order.
If you have an existing order (that has yet to be dispatched) and need to raise another purchase order. Open the sales order and look for this "Run Through Wizard" button.
As you run back through the wizard, you will be prompted if you would like to raise a purchase order.
Select Yes, and click Save & Close. You will be automatically taken to create your purchase order.
Make sure you click the "Next" button before "Save & Close". As there is a slight bug with this currently.
I need to add another Purchase Order to an Existing Sales Order.
If you have an order thats partially dispatched and need to add a purchase order, you wont have the ability to click "run through wizard" anymore. There for you will have to raise a purchase order and attach it to the sales order.
Step 1 : Enable the Wizard Step
You can just navigate to your Sales Order Wizard as shown above.
Then, make sure the "Sales Order to convert." step is enabled.
Step 2 : Raise a Purchase Order
You can create a new Purchase Order by following the steps above.
Step 3 : Connect the Sales Order
As you run through your wizard, you will be prompted to attach a Sales Order.
